LOT OF TWO MECHANICAL BANKS: SPEAKING DOG & WILLIAM TELL. Lot includes Speaking Dog bank with blue dressed figure with a round trap on the underside. Typical coloring with nice yellow highlighting and gold trim to back of chair. However, bank is quite dirty and would benefit greatly from a light cleaning. In fully functional and operating condition. William Tell bank depicts the fabled story of Tell shooting the apple off his son’s head. Polychromed in vibrant colors with elaborate castings. Although this is a somewhat common bank, it is still most intriguing and collectible for many aspects. Bank retains original round trap on underside and is in complete and working order.` SIZE: 7-1/2″ l and 10-1/2″ l, respectively. CONDITION: Both banks are in good to very good original condition. William Tell’s gun occasionally does not lock into cocked position. 1-12820 (600-1,200)
