Additional Information: We’ve been asked if the skittles are the exact original ones that came with this exact container. There is no way we can guarantee this, they are antique and of the correct style and are a spectacular set.

GERMAN SHEPHERD SKITTLES. A very well detailed German Shepherd with an open back containing eight assorted animals pins and the ninth pin being a clown aka “the king pin”. Most likely of a later period from other well known German skittle sets. Although the detailing to the container itself is excellent, the overall finish is different and not as elaborate or refined. Definitely an original paint finish which is more flat in nature than other earlier sets which have a high gloss finish. Still an interesting piece and a nice addition to any collection. A unique feature of this particular set are all the animals are glass eyed. SIZE: 21″ l. CONDITION: Overall very good. Some of the animals show a fair amount of wear, most likely from use. 1-12472 (2,500-3,500)
