FOUR-DRAWER CHIPPENDALE WALNUT CHEST. Probably southern having an applied molded edge top, four graduated drawers on an applied bracket base. Each drawer fitted with two eagle decorated brasses which are replacements. The drawer fronts having an applied beaded edge facing. SIZE: 37″ h x case 38″ w x 20″ d. Top 39-1/2″ x 21-1/4″. PROVENANCE: The Estate of Joan B. Hanson, Fair Haven, N.J. CONDITION: Some restoration, refinished, missing one bale. Good. 9-95842 (700-900)
