WATROUS CLOWN & HORSE BELL TOY AND ARTICULATED WILKINS MONKEY STICK TOY. First toy is a pressed steel frame with heart shaped steel wheels featuring an articulated galloping horse being held in place by a polychrome iron clown figure. Unusual in that an elaborate gear assembly is utilized on the rear wheels to ring the bells. A somewhat simplistic toy by nature, but extremely charming. Lot also includes an articulated dressed monkey stick toy that when rolled along the ground, gives one the appearance of the monkey walking while raising and lowering his left hand. Polychrome in yellow, green, and orange trim. SIZE: 10″ l and 6-1/4″ h, respectively. CONDITION: Overall very good with heavier wear to clown’s hat. Second toy is in fair to good condition, lacking wooden stick. 1-12943, 1-12946 (250-450)
