This nicely rendered oval portrait within a delicate gold frame, embossed with flower heads containing a braided hair wreath purportedly hair of the sitter, mounted under beveled glass. SIZE: (portrait) 2-3/8″h x 2″ w. (sight) PROVENANCE: Affixed to back of the frame is a typed label which reads; “His own hair in the frame. Bought from Florene Maine”.
