ARTHUR BEECHER CARLES JR. (American, 1882-1952) “RAINFALL”. Oil on wood panel scene shows a green hill with oncoming rain shower. The rain shower is in streaks of lavender, gray and white. Puffy white clouds are seen against a blue sky on left side. Signed on reverse of panel “A B Carles”. Nicely housed in a silver gilt wide frame with plastic clear window reverse and having a “Mark Borghi Fine Art” label with artist, title, etc. SIZE: 9-1/4″ x 13″.
