LARGE OVERSIZED DENT DUMP TRUCK. Dent toys were manufactured in Fullerton, PA, which is right next door to Allentown where the Mack Truck factory was located. It was natural for Dent to copy and produce various Mack trucks in miniature form. Dent produced the largest of toy Macks, and this was one of a series of four varieties. This particular vehicle has by means of a lever, a raise-able dump body with an opening tailgate. Truck is enameled in a deep red with a dark green dump body and gilt trims. The spoked iron wheels have yellow centers with simulated rubber tires. Removable figure and steering wheel within cab. SIZE: 15-1/2″ l. CONDITION: Overall very good plus. Appears to be an aged repair to frame under dump body. 1-13137 (750-1,250)
