CAPE HATTERAS CAST-IRON LIGHTHOUSE DOORSTOP. Circa 1920, American. This exceptionally tall example depicts the Cape Hatteras light, the tallest American lighthouse ever built. The light complete with iron applied “Widow’s Walk” fence. The doorstop of two piece construction. SIZE: 21″ h x 9″ overall w. CONDITION: Surfaces retain dry, untouched original paint, with minor, age appropriate corrosion. Very good overall. 9-28488 (2,500-3,500)
