HUBLEY CRASH CAR. The largest of the Hubley crash cars, this toy features a driver in a blue outfit with tan gloves and hat, rubber tires covering nickel plated pressed steel spoked hubs, and an assortment of various items in the cart behind the driver. Included are a pair of nickel plated axes, a hose reel with original hose and nozzle, a first aid kit, and three simulated steel containers for the inevitable vehicular mishap. Motorcycle toys today are highly sought after by not only toy collectors but motorcycle enthusiasts as well. This particular vehicle is a replica of a 1930s four cylinder Indian motorcycle. SIZE: 11-1/2″ l. CONDITION: Spectacular original condition and considering the frequency of the driver being removed from his seat, there is absolute minimal wear or chipping to the tank area. Indian decals are largely intact. And most obvious wear is to the silver railing on the crash car itself. At first glance, one does not notice the casting flaw on the front wheel fender of the motorcycle. Toy has been fully inspected and black light confirms that the toy left the factory with this flaw as paint is intact and shows no evidence of touch up and/or repair. 1-13097 (2,500-3,500)
