RARE FATHER CHRISTMAS TIN WINDUP TOY. Of German manufacture, circa 1920s with finely lithographed detail particularly to facial features. This toy is very similar in nature to the hand painted version most likely made by another company. This fellow is lithographed and stands on an embossed snow covered mica mount. When mechanism is activated, he raises his arms with a small decorated Christmas tree in one hand and his sack of toys in the other (showing heavy deterioration). SIZE: 6-1/2″ h. CONDITION: Overall very good plus, some minor scraping on right side of figure where arm brushed up against body. 1-12457 (1,500-2,500)
