PAIR OF SCRIMSHAW HIGHLAND CATTLE HORNS. First quarter 20th century, or earlier, Scotland. The pair each depicting a courting couple, each headed by a large flower head and cascading floral vinery. The first, a gentleman walking a small dog beneath the floral arch over a depiction of a young man and woman about to kiss. The second, depicting a young man in kilt and cape standing beside a chair. The scene beneath depicting a young woman with stringed instrument serenading a cavalier. Each mounted on a wooden plinth. SIZE: Overall: 18-1/2″ h. Length of horns 25″.
