Additional Information: We’ve been asked if the skittles are the exact original ones that came with this exact container. There is no way we can guarantee this, they are antique and of the correct style and are a spectacular set.

GERMAN CAMEL SKITTLE SET. An outstanding example of one of the several elaborate skittle sets produced in Germany during the early 20th century. Great detailing on the camel container with his back open to contain the nine pins. The camel in a lying position has what would be thought of as normal Middle Eastern drapings upon his back. The various figures themselves seem to be an odd mix but more than likely correct for this container. There is an Oriental gentleman, a Turkish gentleman, Scottish gentleman, Mexican gentleman, Spanish gentleman, Russian gentleman, Arab gentleman, Greek gentleman and a French woman aka “the queen pin”. SIZE: Approx. 19″ l. Figures are approx. 10-1/2″ t. CONDITION: Overall very good plus. Some inpainting to camels as well as figures. Wheels on camel appear to be replacements; one original wheel present. 1-12474 (4,000-6,000)
