QING CARVED BRUSH POT OF MOUNTAINOUS LANDSCAPE. Late 19th, early 20th century. Possibly zitan. Surfaces carved in high relief depicting the seven sages at the bamboo grove. Reverse of pot simulating a tree trunk. Also with a carved signature and seal. SIZE: 9″ h x 8″ l x 7-1/4″ w. PROVENANCE: From the private collection of the grand-niece of the last Emperor Puyi of the Qing Dynasty and granddaughter of crown Prince Pujun. CONDITION: Very good with dark color, good patina and polished surfaces. 9-23948 (15,000-20,000)
