FRAMED PIN THE BOW TIE ON BUSTER BROWN GAME. Printed on linen, it depicts the winking lad with his trusty sidekick Tige by the famed R.F. Outcault who also brought us the Yellow Kid. Somewhat larger than the previous lot, the detail is also somewhat more pronounced. The twelve bow ties are all cut out and separately matted in a wonderful framed display. Accompanied by its original box, a modern copy of a vintage photograph showing an example of this game at a little girl’s party and a vintage linen print of Buster made into a pillow. SIZE: 23-1/2″ w x 28″ h. CONDITION: Vibrant colors with obvious fold creases, wearing a little thin but no apparent tears. This set, however, shows signs of actual use with pin holes in the ties and various spots around the intended areas. 1-12479 (250-350)
