TWO FROGS MECHANICAL BANK. Two frogs bank manufactured by J & E Stevens. Very comical bank. One frog lays down on its back. Coin is placed on his stomach. When lever is pressed, he kicks coin; and at the same time the other frog opens his mouth and swallows coin. SIZE: 9″ l. PROVENANCE: From the Collection of Malcolm Deisenroth, Jr. CONDITION: As with most of these banks, foot is a later replacement. Otherwise bank is in good condition with some rusting to the left side of large frog and some overall wear. 1-10101 (400-700)
