MILLINER’S MODEL WITH SO-CALLED “QUEEN VICTORIA” HAIRSTYLE. Papier mache shoulder head with center part and long curls looped down in front of the ears brought up on the back of the head and in a tight bun leaving both of the ears actually exposed. This hairdo is known as the Queen Victoria hairstyle because it was the exact hairstyle that the young queen wore at her 1837 Coronation. She has her original narrow waist firm leather body with wooden lower arms and legs with painted slippers. Costume appears to be original. SIZE: 12-1/2″ (33cm).
