A stunning likeness of Buster Brown, this fabulous German papier mache lantern is polychromed in vibrant colors with terrific attention to the painted facial features. In virtually near mint, unplayed with condition, it is doubtful a candle was ever utilized within his head. A bale wire handle attached to his head would allow the child to walk about with a candle lit and Buster’s glowing eyes leading the way through the darkness.
