BUSTER BROWN & TIGE GERMAN WINDUP TOY. A most unusual form, this toy is somewhat reminiscent of the Lehmann climbing Miller. When the toy is wound and activated, Buster Brown or Tige will climb up the pole and drop and the reverse figure will climb upwards. There were a handful of various Buster Brown Tige toys and perhaps this is one of the most unusual and seldom found examples. Toy appears to be in all original condition with typical paint schemes used for Buster Brown and Tige. Due to the frailty of the toy, it’s amazing that any of these would have survived. Its unique form and the subject matter make this a most appealing and desirable piece. SIZE: 13″ t. Base is approx. 4″ x 4″. CONDITION: Overall good to very good condition.
