ANTHONY GABRIEL QUERVELLE (Philadelphia, 1789-1856) FINE PAIR CLASSICAL MAHOGANY GAME TABLES. Circa 1830. Each rectangular hinged top with canted corners swiveling above a conforming bolection molded frieze above a stepped swelled ring turned columnar pedestal with leaf carved ring base, joined to a molded incurvate plinth, raised on scrolling acanthus carved claw feet terminating in casters. SIZE: 29-1/2″ h x 36″ w x 18″ d. CONDITION: Professionally repolished and cleaned over original surfaces, minor losses to veneer along apron. Very good overall. 9-97002 (6,000-9,000)
