LARGE PAPIER MACHE “MILLNER’S MODEL”. 1850s era papier mache shoulder head on narrow waist leather body and wooden lower extremities and painted flat shoes. She has short wispy hair with ears exposed with well modeled comb marks. She is well costumed in a period two piece printed cotton dress designed to expose the shoulders with an attached apron made of similar material as the dress. SIZE: 22-1/2″ (57cm). CONDITION: Significant cracking and subsequent paint touch-up to face and shoulders. Hair appears in the original condition as do the eyes. 1-11613 (800-1,200)
