GUNTHERMANN HAND PAINTED GERMAN TIN LADY. Very elegant hand painted German tin toy from the early 20th century featuring a lady in a tin molded blue layered skirt with a black jacket holding a muff in her hands. When the toy is wound up, she realistically moves forward by means of a clockwork mechanism enclosed in her skirt. As she is moving forward, she is jointed at the hips and she sways just a bit from side to side. Toy is in remarkable all original condition including her fur scarf around her neck which normally is missing. An exceptional toy with great presence and seldom found in such wonderful condition. SIZE: Approx. 8″ t. CONDITION: Overall very fine plus with minimal wear and/or chipping to the figure. 1-12459 (2,000-3,000)
