WOODEN MOUNT VERNON PLAY SET. Rare play set that has been attributed to either Crandall or Milton Bradley, it is nearly identical to a set sold in the Flora Gill Jacobs collection. Consisting of George Washington’s storied home, outbuildings, animals and landscaping. Main home is paper on wood, others have stenciled or rubber stamped images on wood. This is an exceptional and classic American toy. SIZE: Main building is 12″ w. PROVENANCE: The Diane and late Steve Olin collection. CONDITION: Generally good to very good with some bubbling and darkening to paper litho covering. Completeness of collection cannot be guaranteed. 1-13271-51 (400-600)
