PAPIER MACHE ELEPHANT SKITTLES. Most likely of German manufacture, this set features eight pachyderms and their trainer who obviously would be the “king pin”. The elephants themselves are well molded and in the standing position, some with raised trunks. All the figures are affixed to a small wooden base and the “king pin” is dressed in circus-style clothing; black boots, green pants and red coat with gold decoration. SIZE: Ranges from 6″ to 7″. CONDITION: Overall very fine plus. One elephant shows some minor paint loss to trunk and foot. 1-12468 (2,000-3,000)
