CLASSICAL MAHOGANY DROPLEAF BREAKFAST TABLE. Second quarter 19th century, probably New York or Philadelphia. The rectangular top with D-form hinged leaves above the conforming frieze, fitted with a single drawer with convex front and opposing sham drawer, and four acorn pendant finials. Raised on a figural oval pedestal joined by four scrolled corbel supports on a base with concave sides terminating in shaped claw feet fitted with casters. SIZE: 28″ h x 47-1/2″ d x 21-1/2″ w closed, 56-1/4″ w open. CONDITION: Professionally refinished and restored in very good structural condition. Each leaf retaining original fittings originally used to join this table to conforming ends. One toe of a single foot missing. 9-96498 (1,000-2,000)
