ROLLIN WHITE SINGLE SHOT PISTOL. Cal. 32 RF. SN 359. Unusual swinging breech pistol with 3″ keyhole oct bbl, German silver half moon front sight, flat-sided brass silver-plated frame with 2-pc rosewood grips. A small button on the left side of the frame releases the breechblock, which pivots to the right and allows for loading & unloading. It has an attached manual extractor. Only about 3,000 of these were made in the period 1861-64. CONDITION: Very fine plus. Bbl retains about 85% orig blue, thin on the sides & bottom, bright in the sheltered areas. Frame retains about 85% orig silver-plating and the grips about 90% varnish. Mechanics are fine, strong bright bore with moderate pitting. 4-54239 JR411 (750-1,250)
