FOXY GRANDPA SQUEAK TOY. Foxy Grandpa a popular early 20th century comic figure is depicted in this German made version of a child’s toy. An extremely well detailed papier mache head affixed to a body with papier mache limbs and dressed in the appropriate clothing of the time period. The bellow (inoperative) contained within his stomach, when pressed he would squeak and his jaw would drop open. Many various toys of various materials were made over the years portraying Foxy Grandpa. This is a nice untouched all original and seldom found example! SIZE: 11″ t. CONDITION: Overall some light soiling to papier mache head. Exposed bellows due to weakness/tear on shirt of figure. 1-13465 (350-550)
