LARGE KENTON CABRIOLET COUPE.

LARGE KENTON CABRIOLET COUPE. An extremely rare cast iron automotive vehicle, especially in this largest size. This toy vehicle originally was found many years ago at the Brimfield antique market and was fresh to the market directly out of a house. Kenton manufactured this particular vehicle and a sedan as well. Both vehicles, especially in this size are rarities and seldom come to market. Car has wonderful detailing and is enameled in robin’s egg blue with a black cabriolet roof and trimmed in gold. The unique feature is the spare tire (replaced) with a 1926 date and red and green simulated lights. Typical Kenton removable driver that was utilized in a number of Kenton toys such as cabs, trucks, fire engines, etc. SIZE: 10″ l. CONDITION: Overall good to very good original paint. Iron tires appear to have been repainted, most likely due to the heavier wear and paint loss in this area. 1-12851 (1,000-2,000)
