CARVED AND DECORATED BASIN STAND. Late 19th/early 20th century. The rectangular top with cross hatched decoration, the edges carved with guilloches above a molded frieze. The whole centering a rectangular basin, hand painted and artist signed, depicting a maiden conversing with a putti within a clam shell. The shaped legs joined by an X-form stretcher. The whole in cream paint with gilt highlights. SIZE: 30″ h x 20″ l x 16-1/2″ w. CONDITION: Table repainted and restored with visible repairs, in need of strengthening. 9-90030 (1,000-1,500)
