REMINGTON SINGLE ACTION POLICE REVOLVER WITH DISPLAY CASE. Cal. 38 RF. SN 1219. Conversion #19. Nickel finish, 3-1/2” oct bbl with crisp markings, 2-pc light walnut grips, standard sight. Has both conversion & percussion cylinders. Also accompanied by a 15-1/4” x 13-3/4” display case made by consignor. It contains a mounted hanger for the revolver, two old orig police badges (one from Philadelphia), one mounted 38 RF long cartridge, a copy of a page from the 1877 Remington catalogue showing this revolver. There is a mounting for the spare percussion cylinder which is included. There is also one full box of 38 RF long UMC cartridges. CONDITION: Fine. Retains most of its orig nickel which was applied over fine pitting. Grips retain an old refinish. Mechanics are fine. Bright, shiny bore with a few spots of light pitting. Case is extremely fine with the cartridge box having evidence of tape over the top with some light soil and edge wear. 4-59340 JH32 (1,000-1,300)
