MAMMOTH DOG WITH JOCKEY ON PLATFORM PULL TOY BY FALLOWS. The largest of the dog platform toys ever produced by any company of American tin. This particular dog came in various forms such as with a rider, with a bell or just by himself. The dog, painted in black with white stippling to the body is standing on a green tin base (of newer vintage) with four iron wheels. Toy has a large seated jockey figure on dog’s back. SIZE: 13-1/2″ l. PROVENANCE: From the Collection of Malcolm Deisenroth, Jr. CONDITION: Overall paint is good. Jockey has been resoldered to dog’s back and shows restoration to paint. 1-10008 (1,000-2,000)
