NEW ENGLAND SHERATON GILTWOOD MIRROR. Second quarter 19th century. The two-part mirror plate within a molded surround, the frame mounted with engaged ropetwist columns, the corners blocked and applied with floral rosettes. SIZE: H 37″ W 19 3/4″ CONDITION: Substantial wear to original gilded surfaces. Upper mirror plate replaced. Minor losses to gesso, structurally good. 9-97657 (400-700)
