CARVED IVORY FIGURE. 19th century, possibly England. This nice carving of a traveler with peg leg and crutch, clothing in rags. The bearded figure mounted on a square pedestal with stepped base, ebonized. The whole beneath a glass dome. SIZE: Statue: 6-3/4″ h. Overall with glass dome: 13-1/2″ h. CONDITION: Very good with normal and expected vertical shrinkage cracks and with good color and patina. 9-29818 (800-1,200)
