ANIMATED VIOLIN PLAYER PLATFORM TOY. Circa 1890 paper on wood platform toy with cast wheels. Figure has wooden hands and feet and cloth dressed body. Bisque headed with mohair wig, glass eyes, and open mouth. Very nice facial features. As platform toy is pulled, girl “plays” violin while turning head. SIZE: 12″ t. Figure is 10″ t. CONDITION: Bisque head is near excellent. Clothes are original and tattered. All functions working properly. 1-13474 (700-900)
