MEISSEN DECORATED PLATTER. Beautiful Meissen platter is decorated with a center bouquet of finely detailed blue, yellow, orange, white and purple flowers against a bright white background. Platter has two open handles and a maroon border that is framed by bright gold gilding. Each corner is decorated with a molded and gilded stylized seashell. Signed on the back under the glaze with a blue crossed sword mark. SIZE: 16″ sq. PROVENANCE: Barry Schultheiss Collection. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with some minor wear to gold on edges. 5-63596 (300-500)
