UNSIGNED (19th/20th Century) THE DISCUS THROWER. Bronze sculpture of a nude man with a fully extended arm holding a discus. He is resting against a stump and in full motion. The round bronze base mounted to a white marble short column with top and bottom black molded caps. SIZE: Overall is 25-1/4″ h. Bronze is 19-1/2″. CONDITION: Wonderful rubbed brown patina, very good. 9-95731 (1,000-1,200)
