CHINESE TAPESTRY PANEL. Late 19th Century. Figure of the God of Longevity Shao Lao with an attendant and pet deer. SIZE: 63″ h x 35″ w. PROVENANCE: From a fine New Jersey home. CONDITION: Panel with some foxing and spotting along left side facing and in area above head of deity. Borders also with discoloration. Good overall. Some deterioration to nose of deer and proper right foreleg. Colors remain good overall. 9-23645 (3,000-5,000)
