HAND PAINTED TIN GUNTHERMANN ACROBATIC AERIAL TOY. An interesting and unique toy manufactured in Germany, circa 1910-20. This toy features a gentleman acrobat and when the motor is wound, the propeller spins and through a series of pulleys, the gent performs acrobatic feats. Toy is marked on the front with the Gunthermann trademark. Gentleman and framework are hand painted. Paper propellers are likely original to this toy. SIZE: 7″ l. CONDITION: Some flaking to figure, but still acceptable. Amateur repair to framework at top marquee on right side. 1-9647 (1,250-2,250)
