EARLY CELLULOID MICKEY RAMBLER WITH O/B. One of Walt’s earliest mechanical Mickeys. All hand-painted celluloid character body waddles forward with windup action, jointed arms. Large toy is mid-1930s design with period correct pie-eyed image. Original paper-labeled box is marked “1934 by Walt Disney Enterprises”. A George Borgfeldt import. Japan. SIZE: 8″ t. CONDITION: Probable replacement of tail. All celluloid body parts and paint remain excellent. Windup working with erratic walking motion.
