METALCRAFT SPIRIT OF ST. LOUIS AIRPLANE W/ OB. A most unique plane, this kit would enable the young man to make five different airplanes!! Similar in construction to Erector kits of the same time period, Metalcraft who is well known for their different series of trucks, produced this in the 1930s after Lindbergh made his infamous flight to Paris. Within the box are the original instructions and pictures detailing the various planes that could be made along with a series of additional nuts and bolts. SIZE: 11-1/2” wingspan.
