FINE ANTIQUE TABRIZ ORIENTAL CARPET, NORTHWEST PERSIA. Last quarter 19th century. Central brick red and turquoise diamond poled medallion on deep indigo open field within pale gold spandrels with turquoise and terracotta serrated edges with dense polychrome floral vinery. Main terracotta border with floral latticework within crenellated guard borders. SIZE: 7′ 8″ x 11′ 2″. CONDITION: With even wear overall and with small areas of old reweave. Colors strong and vibrant. Remains overall very good. Loss to end fringe. 9-22619 (10,000-15,000)
