REGENCY ENGLISH YELLOW STONE DOLL HOUSE. Circa 1840. House with side bale handles for carrying is painted in yellow faux brick with dark green roof with four large windows with demilune windows above and two smaller attic windows, lower story entry with second floor balcony. Yellow exterior is old, but not original but brick pattern remains underneath and deliberately exposed in one section of the front facade. Split front opens in center to reveal four large rooms and center hallway with staircase. Rooms all have opening wood doors. An exceptional feature is there is a privy beneath the stairs on the front level. Roof has pointed finial. Many rooms are covered with early papers. However, two rooms have been re-papered (papers not permanently attached). SIZE: House measures 42″ h x 43″ w x 19″ d. Upper rooms 12″ h x 12″ w x 15-1/2″ d. Lower rooms are 14″ h x 15 ” w x 15-1/2″ d. CONDITION: Overall very good with some splitting to wood (very common for a house of this age) with some paint loss and edge wear.
