LINEMAR POPEYE AIR-O-PLANE, JAPAN. Rare toy with rarer box! The very elusive Linemar character plane winds up and shows same erratic back-and-forth motion as with Marx “Crazy Cars”. Vivid lithographed colors over entire toy. Popeye the Pilot has goggles and original wooden tipped pipe. Beautiful box shows Popeye flying above three other characters. SIZE: 6″ l and wingspan is 5″. CONDITION: Windup mechanism working. Top side of toy shows light scuffing. Underside shows as new. Condition averages very good to near excellent.
