LOVELY GAULTIER BEBE. Bisque socket head which swivels on separate bisque shoulder head plate, both incised “F6G” in the “block letter” markings. She has especially nice blue threaded paperweight eyes, slight mauve shading on upper eyelids, nicely painted lips, double chin with indentation in center of chin. Body is gusseted white leather with bisque lower arms, of the same age of the doll in excellent proportion although German. She wears an antique cotton dress, lovely red ribbed cotton stockings and brown leather shoes with buckles at the ankle as well as an antique dark blond soft mohair wig. She is topped with an antique wide brimmed straw bonnet with navy blue silk ribbon. SIZE: 17″ (43cm). CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 1-11641 (2,000-3,000)
