GERMAN PERFORMING CLOWN PLATFORM TOY. Circa 1910 pull toy with paper on wood platform and tin wheels. Clown above has Simon & Halbig bisque head with glass eyes and open mouth. Figure has wooden hands and feet and is dressed in clown/jester’s outfit. When platform toy is pulled, clown plays cello with clever plink-plonk music generated via rear axle. SIZE: 14″ t. CONDITION: Toy works, may need adjustment. Bisque head is perfect. Clothing has soiling. Overall good to very good. 1-13476 (600-900)
