BEAUTIFUL LONGFACE JUMEAU. Highly desirable doll also known as the Jumeau Triste with lovely blue paperweight eyes, closed mouth, applied ears, incised “12” as base of neck. She is on her original wood and composition body with straight wrists and eight separate ball joints, stamped on the torso in blue “Jumeau Medaille D’or Paris”. Her head is attached to the body with original metal coil spring and she wears an antique blond mohair wig with bangs over the original cork pate. Costume is an antique white cotton and lace dress with antique silk and lace bonnet and antique brown leather shoes with straps. SIZE: 25″ (64cm). CONDITION: Head is in excellent condition, however the body has a slight old cover of repaint throughout with some paint wear to fingertips. 1-11654 (7,000-9,000)
