MAGNIFICENT JONAH AND WHALE CANDY CONTAINER. Papier mache/compo Jonah the Whale is hand painted with glass eyes (possible replacements). Lower jaw removes to reveal a hand carved and painted wooden Jonah. Candy compartment is accessed through hinged door in belly. Very appealing colors and detail work to this fabled character. Unique feature to candy container is the button on underside of whale. Press button and Jonah flings from mouth! SIZE: 12″ l. CONDITION: Some older minor repairs to bottom lip of whale, Jonah missing one arm. Remainder of candy container has very good to near excellent paint. 1-13482 (1,250-2,250)
