OUTSTANDING MICRO MOSAIC ROSEWOOD, ABALONE, AND IVORY ROUND TEA TABLE. Late 19th, early 20th century, Middle East Region. The circular tray top with large central rondel inlaid with five rows of rosettes within a pattern of hexagonal borders. All inlaid with ebony, abalone, and ivory within a border of abalone and rosewood triangles within a rosewood concave border within additional borders of micro mosaic inlays similar to those of the center. Fitted with a conforming glass top mounted within the outer rim of micro mosaic banding. Above the frieze pierce carved with panels of spool trellis work within micro mosaic borders. The whole raised on six baluster turned and inlaid legs. SIZE: 20″ h x 31″ dia. CONDITION: Very good, original surfaces. Inlay is primarily intact. 9-29738 (400-600)
