KILGORE TAT AIRPLANE. Kilgore created some of the most lifelike, realistic airplanes manufactured by any other toy company. This realistic 3-engine passenger plane has a ribbed fuselage and wing. T.A.T., which stands for Transcontinental Air Transport, which was founded in 1928 and later merged with what became T.W.A., which after decades of operations is now defunct. This particular plane came in two colors: green with a yellow wing or red with a yellow wing. Plane was also very susceptible to damage/hairline cracks at rear rivet junction. Overall this plane is in need of a good cleaning. Right wheel cover is older iron replacement. SIZE: 13-1/2″ wingspan.
