CLASSIC TETE JUMEAU BEBE. Pretty closed-mouth Jumeau is stamped on the back of the head “Depose Tete Jumeau Bte S.G.D.G. 9” with gray-blue paperweight eyes, well painted eyelashes and evenly arched eyebrows, pierced ears and is on the original wood and composition body with straight wrists stamped on the torso in blue “Jumeau Medaille D’or Paris”. Doll has been well recostumed in the style of an 1890s child with light lime silk and floral braid trim with matching hat, original blond mohair wig over cork pate and antique white leather shoes showing typical wear. SIZE: 19″ (48cm). CONDITION: Faint hairline on upper forehead that has been professionally repainted, most likely a long time ago. Body has original paint but has typical wear especially on fingertips. 1-11892 (1,200-1,800)
