SCHOENHUT BARNEY GOOGLE & SPARK PLUG. Copyrighted in 1922 from King Features, this toy depicts the comical and somewhat vacant look of Barney and his loyal companion Spark Plug. Most popular with children of the time, these figures can be posed in a multitude of positions. Upon studying these toys, one sometimes thinks that perhaps Spark Plug was the brains of the outfit and Barney just followed him about. SIZE: 7-1/2″ and Spark Plug is approx. 9″ l. CONDITION: Overall very fine condition on both figures. Spark Plug has a replaced blanket. 1-9606 (200-300)
